Why can a server appear offline here?
The address may be wrong, DNS may not have propagated, the port may be blocked, the server may be starting, or status requests may be filtered.
Does this reveal private server information?
It shows information the server already exposes through its public status or query response. It does not log in, use RCON or bypass authentication.
Can I check a non-default port?
Yes. Enter host:port, for example play.example.net:25570. IPv6 literals are not accepted by this form to keep validation unambiguous.
