What a server setup should save​

A setup packages the integration work between plugins, maps, menus, permissions and player flows. It should reduce launch time, not remove the need for staging, security review and capacity testing. Evaluate what is included, which licenses must be purchased separately and which components Shyam Studio can directly support.

Core ownership matters​

ShyamPractice is configured around the third-party StrikePractice core. Advance ShyamDuels follows Shyam Studio's own core and setup path. Neither architecture is automatically better; the correct choice depends on required features, license ownership, support boundaries and how much of the stack you want to customize.

Launch checklist​

Replace branding and credentials, review permissions, regenerate secrets, verify databases, test backups, inspect every arena and kit, profile representative combat, and document rollback. Never expose bundled defaults directly to production.
